Podcast 11.75 Thoughts from the Flight Deck Your host is Pilot Bill Even the pros have trouble with the radio. A Southwest Airlines crew having trouble copying an IFR clearance. IFR read backs can be funny. Listen to www.Liveatc.net I should get back on schedule, of pod casts on the 1st and 15th . The commercial check ride gave me material I wanted to get out sooner. I have about six months of podcasts pre-recorded and did not want to wait until they were done. So when you see strange numbers like 11.75, they are just podcasts jammed in between others. Podcast 8 Flying with Mr. Garmin 430 Flight instructor Mr. Garmin helped me learn to fly the localizer. Flying an ILS, localizer, or VOR can be a difficult skill to learn. All of the books on Instrument flying devote very little space to the actual flying part. This podcast is about my troubles over correcting on an approach, especially as I came closer to the localizer. With Mr. Garmin 430 as my coach, I found the way. The Dreaded Stall! or how to fall out of the sky........ Stalling an airplane can lead to emotional scars.
